Bus route No. 3 to be extended to Vakarbuļļi

From June 11 till the end of August, on holidays, "Rīgas satiksme" extends bus route No. 3 to the terminal of bus route No. 36 in Vakarbuļļi. The route is extended for passengers’ comfort.

To meet customers’ demand, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during summer season buses on route No. 3 will run to the Vakarbuļļi beach. The number of buses on the route will not change for the time being. Given the fact that the route is extended by 7.345 km, the bus schedule will change accordingly and intervals between runs will be increased.

As the beach of Vakarbuļļi has become one of the most favourable recreation places for Riga residents, it has been decided to increase the number of buses running to the beach in days of maximum passenger flow.
